Veteran Nigerian actor Ernest Asuzu has been spotted begging for alms by the roadside.
The actor is said to have been battling stroke for some years and was captured on video without a shirt by a social media user who called out Nollywood for neglecting one of its own.

Nigerian man who shared the video of himself and the actor claimed that he saw the actor begging for money on the roadside at Oke-Afa in Isolo area of the state.
The social media user in the video alleged that the actor became this way after he suffered from a stroke.
He called Nollywood a disgrace for allowing one of their popular actors to suffer to the extent of begging on the streets.

He noted that he needs their help now, adding that Nollywood should not cry out after the man is dead.
The man then pleaded with the government to also come to the aid of the former actor who shed tears as the man spoke to the camera.
