English singer and songwriter, Edward Christopher Sheeran, well known as Ed Sheeran was born on February 17th, 1991 in Halifax, West Yorkshire in the United Kingdom.

Ed Sheeran and his family relocated from Hebden Bridge to Framlingham in Suffolk in December 1995, where he attended the private Brandeston Hall preparatory school before transferring to Thomas Mills High School, also in Framlingham.

Matthew, his older brother, is a composer by profession. John and Imogen Sheeran are a couple from London. His father is from a “very huge” Catholic family, according to Sheeran, and his paternal grandparents are Irish.
