Paul Cattermole’s cause of death has been revealed after the S Club 7 star died last month.

The singer was found dead on April 6 – just two months after he and the band announced they were due to go on a reunion tour this autumn.

His body was discovered in his ground floor flat in Wareham, Dorset, devastating his bandmates and fans.

Cattermole, who made a living as a tarot card reader after quitting the group in 2002, was said to have been in ‘good spirits’ when he was seen at a park close to his home days earlier.

Since his death, which took place before his band S Club 7 were due to reunite for a 25th anniversary tour, S Club member Hannah Spearritt announced her decision not to continue with the reunion tour, but the rest of the band will reunite.

Now, Dorset Coroner’s Service has finished investigating Paul’s death and confirmed the cause.

The coroner’s service has confirmed Paul died of natural causes and no inquest into the singer’s death will take place.

A spokeswoman for the coroner said: “We confirm that Mr Cattermole died from natural causes and our investigations have concluded.

As his death was from natural causes there will be no inquest.”

Paul’s death was announced by his family and his band S Club 7 last month, with fans and famous friends flooding social media with tributes and sharing their memories of the late star.
